330,000...

My point remains, we have an extra 330,000 people in. More next year - more the year after and so on. When does it end? how does it end? Will children born today be able to buy their own house when the time comes to graft? Will it only be those in very well paid jobs that can afford such a thing? Do the low paid just get squashed even more? I saw a report today of young couples having to live with mum and dad. A figure that's rising. I wonder why that is, oh yeah we don't have enough affordable homes. Perhaps the EU would like to help us build some more? Nah, thought not.

I watched the debate with Victoria Derbyshire (lovely brave lady) last night and I get the feeling people think if you want to leave you're being in some way racist. That's not the case. A young white girl said she can't get a bungalow for her mum who is in need. Another young Asian girl verbally attacked her looking for a row (imo) and went on to say stuff like her parents helped make this country!!! So bloody touchy!!! Nobody is on about her parents...why bring it up - it's time she (and others) accepted they're British and protected what her parents helped to build.

My time over again, there's no way I would bring a child into this world...not a chance in hell. All I'm doing now is worrying about my grandchildren and what the future has for them. Not too much I fear.

Perhaps I'm just old and stuck in the past. Perhaps I'm wrong. I just can't see how this small country can carry on taking in huge numbers without it breaking. For the life of me I can't.
