I got offered a new job today.....

I tell my boss that I will be resigning rather than just handing a letter over in a few days time. She is fine about it but asks me to keep it quiet until she gives me the green light to talk about it.

We got new iPhones the other day. I text one of the lads on my team to say what was happening but it appears to have gone to all the management. Marvellous. Each message seems to have gone from my phone to about six different people with everyone asking "Who's this?" "Who's leaving?" etc.

My boss has since emailed asking "WTF is going on?" to which I replied the same.

Is that even possible? Is it a big IT fcuk up?

Not the best end to nine years at my current employer.
