I remember when the club had a premium rate number you had to call for ticket news.
The pre recorded message always started off by listing the box office opening hours. Rather than just saying Monday to Saturday 9am until 6pm or whatever it was, it would list each day individually really slowly. So Monday, 9am until 6pm, Tuesday 9am until 6pm and so on.
By the time you got to any sort of ticket news you had spent a fiver on the call. It was outrageous. I think Eddie Barnett was the one who recorded the message.
