Winners who finished fifth last year and some who finished eleventh two years before that. Which proves the point even more... we’re not consistently finishing first and second, or even consistently finishing fourth every year, we have these wild swings which show that something is fundamentally wrong.
As for Higuain, all I hear is how we need a striker and playing without a striker is lunacy, so he tries to get one and he’s being criticised for that now because Higuain is 31? Morata’s a great age on paper but he’s proven not up to the task. We create enough chances to have won more than we have, the Spurs & Arsenal games being the two exceptions. This club’s obsession with age is doing nobody any favours.
