Some try to tell me Sarri is shite and the season was very much 'tits up'. I don't expect Frank or a proven top manager to beat that next season!!!

I have a very high opinion of Frank Lampard both as a player and as a man, as I'm sure many do. I have every confidence he has what it takes to be very successful at CFC. Am I fearful he will fail? No more than any other manager that takes over at Chelsea. You have to ditch sentiment sometimes, just as Frank did when scoring against us. If it comes off then we have a young manager in place for many years to come...the reward for that could be stability and structure. It's a gamble but Frank is man enough, he knows the score.

If we go down the route of employing another manager the shadow of Frank Lampard will loom large after every defeat or bout of poor form.
