I think it's the perfect time. I have my own misgivings, but can't ignore the massive feel-good factor that's much needed at the club and the fact that he's in a brilliant position to deliver genuine transformation, as the transfer ban gives him an excuse for potentially poor results and he'll get (or should) plenty of patience from the fans. The addition of Edwards, Morris and Newton is a big deal too - People who have been closely involved with the youth teams over the last decade between them.

Worst case, we'll get someone next summer with the carrot of a massive amount of money to spend...
