Everton want £65m apparently, ha ha ha.
Run and jump spring to mind.
Worth paying it if he was capable of either of those!
I don't even know what to say to that. I suppose they're all puffing their chests out and thinking "We'll show Chelsea again" I hope everyone at Chelsea is laughing too hard to even answer that one.
I'm selling a pair of old socks with a hole in the toe.
I want £40 million for them.
what colour are they?
SOCKIST
deal. I may lend them back at Christmas when I realise they don't fit
£6.5m maybe!
If we pay any more for him than we sold him for, it's a fcking joke.
Can't we just get Ade Akinbiyi for £30m instead?
Can't say I'm surprised. Sadly, I expect there's some bell end within Chelsea who's still thinks it will be money well spent!
Surely there can't be, not at that price. I mean we were saying he might be worth another go yesterday, but not at that price, or even half, or even a quarter really.
We paid £50 Million for a fading Torres six years ago and were close to paying £40M plus for a defender last season, somebody in the club thought nigh on £20M was a good deal for Baba Rahman so its not exactly a quantum leap to £65M for Lukaku.
I wish I could argue against any of that, but you are 100% right
If you put it like that, 23 year old striker 25 odd goals in Prem for a pony team....
We can always fund it through Willian's sale....
Spot on. Unfortunately.
Not forgetting that we made around about £12m when we sold him, so knock that off of it and we would have a guaranteed Premier League goal scorer for around £50m, at the age of 23.
3 goals in his last 18 PL games and none at all in his last 10 games. I think we could be making better use of £50m
not my money so don't give a fcuck if Roman wants to spunk 65mil on the stroppy lamp post.
He will score a few against mid and bottom half teams I suppose.
Buy him and loan him to WBA
