Seen very little mention of how we played, what Conte did, what the players did...
Instead, it's all about what Klopp said, how little cutting edge Liverpool had, how dirty the game was in reference to the red card (erm, even though they had almost all the bookings).
Then I look on the BBC page and the clip they have isn't of highlights, or the goal...but of the fking red card!
Wankers the lot of them.

I watched the game so I don't need someone else's biased opinion on this occasion.
It all started because I wanted to read a match report of the game (was finishing as I was getting up for work) - I still haven't found one!
Liverpool got the fouls in early with a couple of worthy yellow cards and set the tone by which the game would be played...not a friendly.
We looked reasonably safe in defence (bar one lost tackle by JT) and the midfield was very supportive of the back line. We worked hard to fill the gaps we saw last season between the defence and midfield. Whether that was because LFC really pressed high up or the way we planned it I don't know. Lots of loose passing from both sides, fair enough given the break from football. Willian started the game very well I thought and looked very sharp...shame he fizzled out but promising form. Neither keeper were really troubled (bar one good save by Begovic) but I'd say Begovic was the busier...we were leading a long time, I'd expect that.
All in all, the game was won early on and we looked pretty good at protecting what we had without ever needing a gear change.
Zouma was on the bench - if my eyes were true to me when I briefly saw the list of subs.
