Is the ref for the City game, Anthony Taylor.
He did the Liverpool v Utd game, now he gets City v Chelsea.
What is going on?
Could work in our favour
That's not the point though, B. Why is it happening? Why is he being appointed games involving both Utd and City?
I'd like to think it matters not mate. I don't remember David Elleray giving us too much!
But why would the people, who decide who refs what, give two of the biggest games to a ref from the city where he was born, bred and still lives.?
I just don't get the logic in why it s allowed.
Mourinho was right, IMO, to question the appointment, but they still do it again.
I always thought it was FA rules to not allow it. I guess the rules are only rules when it suits them mate.
It actually puts even more pressure on a ref so that in itself is unfair on them.
It's a strange one, but they set the precedent with the United game.
You sense they're trying too hard to overcompensate for how OK it is by purposely giving him these matches
