All I've seen so far today is a load of 'expert' pundits tell the press what it takes to beat us or cause us problems based on yesterday's game.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we drew a game in which the goal we conceded was from a well struck fee-kick - Maybe I missed us getting beaten 4-0?
We were never in danger of being beaten... just had one of those days where we couldn't unlock them after a good start.
The passing was poor at times, but on another day we would have won comfortably. As frustrating as it was, they didn't threaten and we just weren't quite at it, it wasn't like they frustrated us even, we just weren't on top form. I'm not sure that gives a blueprint for others teams having success against us, but I guess they're paid to say something.
Exactly, just don't get how you turn a single result (which could be down to a keeper's mistake or whatever) into 'oh, that sets the blueprint' - Lazy fkers!
Bah, when we lost at spuds and were six points clear they were already talking about us being caught, we are currently 8 points clear. Sure we can't be complacent but as someone said, there is a desperation for a title race that at the moment just isn't happening. We need to make sure it doesn't happen, the matches are running out fast. beat Swansea and we're into single figures for wins needed and that is only if someone else wins all of theirs which is not going to happen.
they're so desperate for a title race that they're prepared to pretend things aren't what they actually are
Press in genuine surprise that a well drilled, supremely fit side. joint third in the Home results table manages to draw with Chelsea. On the flip side, If offered a draw before the game I expect most fans would have accepted it.
Exactly - There are plenty of games I could have picked holes in (most of them games we won!), but not sure a hard earned point where we conceded from a set-piece is where I'd start my "here's how to beat them" nonsense.
"Here's how - Take brilliant free-kicks that the keeper can't save, easy!"
You would have thought they had ju.st won the Champions League the way their fans celebrated.
City scraped a late win 2-1 there and Arsenal an even later win with a hand ball goal... they drew away at old Trafford and as everyone knows after this weekend they've turned everyone else over... let's see if city can win tonight or if bournemouth can put in a performance like they did against Arsenal at home... Swansea at home for me is huge as I think Man City play Liverpool that day.
I think they're all hoping for a collapse like Newcastle in 1996.
Yep, but Conte ain't Keegan and City ain't United
