For this site to remain it will need 30 members to throw £20 a year in as a subscription fee until it reaches numbers that means it can carry on without a subscription fees.
Am I about right, Shed?
If there was no ad revenue. yes.
I might be able to save a few quid and get cheaper server costs somewhere, but the speed and reliability may suffer. The company I use, I know from all my other web stuff, and they are excellent. If you think how reliable this site has been over the last 4 years, I don't have to say any more. Saying that I will check out a few other companies again just in case.
If you look at it as £2 a day per month required. It is noticeable that when Everton fans just come over for a couple of hours when their other board goes tits up for a bit, then that is quickly achieved. That's what I mean by just needing a couple of clubs and then we're laughing. And it doesn't need hundreds of people, just a group of 10 mates from one club, to basically use it as their place to keep in contact, talk bollox, etc
If the ad company isn't helpful, then I'll post up the next stage...
And I do realise there's lots more I could have been doing in terms of marketing, social media, etc but it's easier said than done with being self-employed, family, mortgage, life, etc. However, never give up. That's something I've learnt from watching 187 episodes of Peter Rabbit
It is indeed a very reliable site mate.
How Rob survives on FMTTM I will never know. Littered with ads (yes we know why) and when busy it crashes or is VERY slow! The residents moan and moan but still they remain. Massively neglected site...it doesn't seem right this site is overlooked and that one seems to thrive.
I had hoped the PDC page would have taken off better than it has.
Happy to pay a sub until we find a solution A. I do worry it has an impact on your family budget and that simply can't continue.
Twenty quid, no worries.
put me down for a score.
I haven't posted on here in a really long time but I consider it to be immensely valuable being able to have a resource I can go to for commentary on significant Chelsea related issues from people whose opinions respect. In case it helps with the deliberations, I will gladly pay a sub whether annual or monthly to keep this going.
Thanks mate, that's really nice to read, I'll post an update over the next few days...
I'd rather spending £2 a month on this site, rather than Ramires.
I'm happy to chuck some money in
