We have a 5th column in this country now. You can thank Blair and the Labour party for that.

Blair & the Labour Party haven't helped but they are all complicit. Bakri & Hamza and their ilk were here in the early 80s and were preaching their hate unabashed long before Blair & Labour came to power so the Tories, Thatcher & Major, Cameron plus Clegg & Brown have all failed us too. The extremist mosques & organisations grew up well before 1997.

The fuckwit that perpetrated this was born before Blair and became an adult long after him and Labour had gone. I appreciate the breeding ground may have accelerated in his time but that is the same all over the world and nobody has slowed it down.

None of these politicians nor their security advisors have the stomach or balls to do what is right and listening to the drivel spouted out yesterday when people were more concerned about vigils and "coming together" neither do the people.

Read what Mandelson said about immigration. They were scouring the world looking for immigrants to rub the noses of the right in it. They increased the numbers 10 or 20 times what it had been for decades.

All done without a single fukk given for the British people.

Labour supporter you may be, you'll have to swallow this one I'm afraid.

Isn't that the kind of logic which whipped someone into such a frenzy that they murdered a Labour MP last year?

The cnut who did the Manchester attack was born in this country in 1994, 3 years before Labour regained power. The cnut who did the Westminster attack was born in this country over 50 years ago. To pin the global rise of Islamic extremism purely on previous Labour governments' immigration policies doesn't make sense, whether you agreed with the policies or not.
I'd say the biggest impact Blair et al had on creating the current climate is unnecessarily getting us involved in a war we didn't need to get involved in.

22 children were blown to pieces and 64 more injured and too many people refuse to confront it because the reality comes crashing into their ideology.

I'm all for the government tackling the problem but they won't because they're weak.

These terrorists may have been born here but their parents weren't and they have zero allegiance to this country. Labour increased the numbers of people who couldn't give a fukk about this country simply to secure votes.

Labour politicians and counsellors have been sharing platforms with terrorists for years. One gave character references for the child rapists in Rotherham.

You blame our foreign policy all you like, it suits your agenda, but it doesn't explain the problems everywhere else where Muslims are killing people.

The parents of the terrorists who've struck in the UK this year, came here long before Labour got into power and implemented their immigration policies, that's all I'm saying.
I don't think any one thing can be blamed for the Manchester attack or indeed any of this, there are numerous complex reasons stretching back years and years as to how we've got to this sorry situation and I believe if there was an easy solution, it would have been implemented by now. I certainly can't think of one.

Maybe they did. But with what Labour have done white British are now a minority in London and there are enclaves where terrorists are protected by their community. They hide in plain sight. And it's going to get worse.

When you don't know how to fix a problem, stop making it worse.

looking at the figures it would appear that the coalition and the tories have taken that ridiculous idea and carried it on for their own economic purposes. Year on year population growth in the last seven years outstrips the previous thirteen. Agree with everything you say about the 5th Column but to put the blame on one party and person misses the mark. Some of those Those 5th Columists were here long before 1997

The biggest atrocities of the last few years have been carried out by people born in the UK and (legally ayt least) British nationals, would giving them military training be a good idea?

I don't know if I'm so sure it's not working. They manage to foil and intercept a lot of potential plots. I don't think anyone can ever stop anyone doing something like this, whatever their motivations; as others have alluded to, it's just the realities of humankind. People will always find reasons to kill each other.

I think a nation raised on service would have a lot of problems; PTSD, dislike/distrust of authority etc. I personally wouldn't risk my personal safety for a ruling elite who couldn't give a shit about me.

I agree that it is working, to the extent in which it can.

We have about 3000 people on the watch list which is too many to surveil 24x7

The issue is we need to stop making the problem worse.

Listen to what isis are saying. Take them seriously. They're explaining what they're planning and why yet all the "intellectuals" choose to ignore them.
