He's Liverpool; can't be his fault.

Plenty of them defending him on social media. It’s never their fault.

You cannot be spitting at a 14 year old girl no matter what. There is no defending that.

We got email from FA this week for youth football (u10's) saying that if any player caught spitting could be a 10 year ban!

Questions have to be asked about a bloke who’s more concerned about stitching up a former pro, than caring about his daughter and her safety... but Carragher is bang to rights - despicable act.

Yes some of the stuff they have to put with is out if order but you can't react like that.

My mate, Liverpool fan, met John Terry at Thorpe Park with his kids years ago. Said he was taking all manner of abuse but in the end still stopped and posed for photos with the same people. Totally changed his opinion of him.

The smarter players will realise that's the only thing you can do.

In fairness, I know a couple of people who've met Carragher outside the public eye and they said he was normal and alright. Can imagine him losing it (I would), but spitting...crossed a line.

A punk tribute band would take him.
