Luiz and Alonso would not be anywhere near my back four.
Dave brings leadership and rarely performs badly. Appreciate he might not be ideal for the system but he has other qualities when the chips are down. Ive a feeling we might needs those for the first few months.
Ampadu is already a better defender than Luiz. His awareness of where he is, what is around him and his anticipation, remind me so much of Bobby Moore. Just because he is very young doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be in the team. He and Christensen should be allowed to develop what already looks a very promising and capable CB partnership.
As I see it, from pre-season, in this system, the weak links, without doubt, are Luiz, Alonso, Willian and Pedro. Morata needs to start showing he wants to play for us. Have not seen any of that all year. With what we have in the squad, I hope we are not stupid enough, to let, the one real goal scorer we have, Batshuayi, leave his month.

Much as I love Dave I don't think he suited to that role.
Would also like to see RLC get a run of games. I think he's better the Barkley. Kante and Jorginho with him.
I'd have CHO and Hazard as wingers and give Morata his last chance up front.
Not sure what my team would be but Rudiger and Kante start the majority of games for me.
I've have Rudiger first choice and expect Pedro / Willian to rotate and whoever starts to swap wings with Hazard. The jury is out on Luiz. Hasn't played a proper competitive match since the horror show at Vicarage Road.
