Well, the proof of the pudding, they are obviously struggling to sell them.I remember reading many years ago about how crowds in London fluctuated at different grounds. those dark second division days where we used to be there with West ham, our average crowds were a similar number, yet the difference between their biggest and smallest crowds of the season was only a few thousand whereas we would have a low point of barely 10,000 yet get 42,000 for big games (usually the cup in those days) suggesting the West Ham hardcore were mostly their regular matchgoers and not much above that whereas as our crowd was much more variable. As I say, i am not having a go, but I think it is clear they are not a hugely supported team, few people outside their catchment area support them.
