I didn't watch the programme, must be hard to lose the mother of your kids when they are still so young, even if he is a tw*t. But as I say I didn't see it so I can't comment on what it was like.

I never watched it either so my thoughts of him being a cnut are firmly intact.

I did watch the show and was a powerful piece of television. Never liked Rio, always felt he was the far side of seedy and not as good a player as he and everyone else thought he was. This was tough viewing and he had my respect.. however grudging... by the end. Fair play to him, in fact.

I had a feeling if I watched it my opinion of him would change...I'm not prepared to take that risk so he remains the cnut I take him as :-D

You'd have to be one hard hearted f*cker not to have had a bit of sympathy for him after watching it.

I only caught the last half hour but there was a bit with his dad which maybe showed where Rio gets a bit of his personality from. He came across as self absorbed narcissist.

I didn't see it but they were talking about it on radio London yesterday and people in a similar situation were phoning in.
Heartbreaking but inspiring at same time.

If it helps him, his kids and anyone else, it can't be a bad thing.
