Also, Sp*rs, Newcastle and Norwich are among clubs that are furloughing non-playing staff whilst players continue on 100% wages. It's unbelievable. And it's quite obvious - morally and financially - how and when that scheme should be used.
Say there were 20 non-playing staff, earning average 30k a year. So approx 150k wages for 3 months. 120k will then have to be paid by the Government. That's 1 week's pay (or less) to the average Premier League player.
